On Monday, March 2, 2026, grandma had cocoa wheats, hard boiled egg, and chocolate milk for breakfast. Grandma enjoyed the whirlpool bath. For lunch she ate beef stroganoff and cooked carrots. She played BINGO and won four times. Cheryl came to visit and brought her a decorated bunny pillow to sit on her bed. Cheryl also brought grandma a bouquet of flowers. For supper, grandma hadchicken casserole. Becky stopped in for a visit and to take grandma down to the dining room for supper.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, grandma enjoyed cream of wheat, bacon, and a donut for breakfast. Pastor Cheri and Eileen Kraft Thomas stopped in to visit Grandma Dar. They brought her some church news and a signed card from the parishioners of the Methodist Church. Becky stopped in to visit and then grandma was going to watch the Spartans play Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds at 7pm. The Spartans beat the Warbirds, 71-40.
Wednesday, March 4, 2026, grandma had oatmeal for breakfast. The nurses were in for her morning care. For lunch grandma ate spaghetti and green beans with chocolate cake for dessert. Grandma played BINGO in the afternoon. Supper was soup and sandwich. Becky stopped out to visit.
Thursday, March 5, 2026, it was a very foggy morning. Grandma went to the whirlpool bath. She ate oatmeal and a muffin with chocolate milk for breakfast. Grandma enjoyed the afternoon activity of coloring sheets with colored pencils.
On Friday, March 6, 2026, the weather turned a bit nasty so the ballgame was postponed to Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday, March 7, 2026, Becky stopped out to remind me of the ballgames. She helped me into the dining room for lunch. I told her to cheer loud and that I’d look for her on tv. The Spartans played a great game and unfortunately came up short, losing to Castlewood Warriors 55-53. Grandma has so enjoyed the Spartans this season and is very thankful she can watch the games on tv.
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, grandma attended church at 3 p.m. Church was led by Pastor Cheri and she had some others help lead the singing as she played the piano.
