Thank you to the Wessington Springs Athletic Hall of Fame committee for the honor of being induced into the Hall’s 2025 class. Congratulations to the other inductees and it was an enjoyable and very humbling day for my family and I seeing so many friends that we have not seen in too long of a time.

I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. It was a very cold day. The 281 tournament was being played in the Huron Arena. Marcus Damm did a great job announcing the games! Wessington Springs Boys played Sanborn Central/ Woonsocket and won 7661.

Week 2 of the 100th Legislative Session is complete! The House Ag & Natural Resource committee voted to pass 13-0 on HB1022. An act to prohibit the misbranding of cell culture protein. This is a proactive truth in labeling bill.
