I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon.Tuesday, I enjoyed the chicken dinner and cake from the Manor kitchen. At 1 p.m. I had physical therapy with Brittany. Kelly Knippling Gran came for Home Health at 1:30 p.m.

On January 14th, we will start the historic 100th Legislative Session in the great State of South Dakota. A few weeks ago, Governor Noem presented her Budget Address. The FY2026 recommended budget is $7,300,714,543. Ten years ago, the recommended budget was $4,319,861,165.

I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. It was a snowy day. Tuesday, I enjoyed the pork dinner from the Manor kitchen. Tuesday evening, I walked up to Ruth Jensen’s in the south apartments. I took her a belated birthday card and Christmas card.

Annual refresher course would go a long way to avoid open meeting violations

The South Dakota Legislature will convene on Jan. 14 and lawmakers will begin work on a plethora of issues important to our state. We hope open government and the public’s right to know are among the topics legislators will tackle.Open government is essential to good government.

I wrote Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. I enjoyed the beef tips on rice with corn and pudding from the Manor kitchen. I went to physical therapy with Jen Jensen at 2:30 p.m. In the evening, I watched the Minnesota Vikings play the Chicago Bears.

I wrote Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. I attended the Weskota Apartments membership meeting in the dining room at 10 a.m. Kristy Olinger called the meeting to order. The carpets and patio door need attention. I am a new board member.
