As I near the end of my first year in administration, I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for the students, staff, and parents of Wessington Springs Elementary School. I feel blessed to be here doing this job alongside all of the stakeholders of Wessington Springs School District.

Combating misinformation

The rate of infection of Covid 19 and the impact that it has have declined but not gone away. There continues to be the real threat that a new and dangerous variant could emerge. However, it may well be time to look back at what has happened and consider where we stand.

POST-EASTER PARENTING

Did anyone else have to deal with sugar-crashing children Sunday evening and begin to question their own sanity? Just me? I say this as the person who had candy thrown all over the church lawn for students to find so I know that I was my author of that particular stress point.
