Blackhawks Finish 6-2 On Regular Season

The 11B fifth-ranked Mount Vernon/Plankinton Titans came away with a narrow 22-20 victory over the fourth-ranked Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central Blackhawks Friday in Mount Vernon.“This was a very tough game,” said WWSSC Head Coach Michael Schmitz.

Spartans Finish Season Strong, Three Advance to Cross Country State Meet

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the strong southerly winds helped push the Suburban up to Gettysburg for the region 4B cross-country meet. While the area around Highmore looked like the dirty thirties, with all the dust blowing off of the barren bean fields, it was clearer up near Gettysburg.

Spartans Cross the Regular Season Finish Line, Set Sights on Regions

On Monday, October 7, 2024, we traveled to Howard to run at the Howard Invite on the golf course there in the northeast part of town. It was “run”-derful fall weather to run in. The girls were first to step to the starting line for the varsity race.
