During a volleyball tournament held in Lake Andes earlier this month, Wessington Springs High School senior Ashlyn Weber achieved a milestone that was cause for celebration: 1000 career digs.We were playing Crow Creek and it happened after the second point,” Weber recalls.

The Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central Blackhawks punched their ticket to advance to the second round playoffs last Thursday during a demanding postseason game against Aberdeen-Roncalli, coming out on top with a final score of 14-13.“Wow! What a game. Both teams played really well.
