Last Tuesday’s Region 5B quarterfinals saw the Spartans deliver a convincing win against Avon, 62-36, in front of a big home crowd. Ryder Michalek topped 1,000 points for his career during the contest and Parker Graff led the Spartans with 20 points.

On Tuesday, February 20 the Wessington Springs Spartans girls basketball team hosted Gregory in a Region 5 game. The Spartans jumped to a quick 6-0 lead and went on to hold a 12-8 lead after one quarter.
