On Wednesday, October 12, the Spartans traveled up to Gettysburg, SD, for the Region 4B crosscountry meet. The wind blew against us the whole way up there, but at least there wasn’t any snow on the ground or moisture coming from the sky.
The Blackhawks returned home with a victory over the Rapid City Christian Comets after a night of football action out west at Hart Ranch. Blackhawks QB Holden Havlik on the move.

The next generation of Blackhawks Football celebrates an undefeated season for both the 3-4 and 5-6 grade teams with the younger group finishing 9-0 and the older kids at 7-0. “We have great kids and we had a great season,” said Head Coach Cody Hasty. “I’m so proud of them.

The Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/ Sanborn Central Blackhawks shutout the Tripp-Delmont/Armour/ Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunderhawks last Friday night with a score of 25-0. The Blackhawks ended the night with a total of 217 rushing yards and 136 passing yards.
