Mourning into mission: a Huron teen inspires t-shirts and a gathering to promote mental health awareness

With a long standing tradition of decorating a table stemming from a yearly invitation from her mother-in-law, Doris Roduner, Christina has continued this tradition with her daughter Bailey even after her passing. Utilizing sentimental yellow dishes passed down from her Great-Grandmother, emerald green accents, and her daughters baking skills, she has been able to create a beautiful table yet again.

The elementary school gymnasium served as the venue for the standing-room-only crowd that gathered to partake in the Wessington Springs Elementary School Spring Concert Monday, April 28, 2025. Pre-K through sixth graders sang in Spring as just two weeks remain in the 2024-2025 school year.
