When the Wessington Springs-Woonsocket-Wolsey-Wessington Warhawks wrestling team wrote down goals on the first day of practice, head coach Adam Haake remembers one that stood out.
At the top of Jacksen Carter’s list: an undefeated season and a state championship.
By the time the Class B State Wrestling Tournament wrapped up last weekend, Carter had accomplished exactly that.
