On the subject of school events, the school district’s holiday concerts are slated for Friday, December 6 (middle/high school) and Monday, December 9 (elementary). More opportunities to shop local are provided as eighth grade students sell their wares at Holly Jolly Mall before both concerts.

Don’t miss the Wessington Springs Community Choir as they sing in the season Saturday, December 14 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 15 at 2 p.m. at the Opera House. Admission is free will donation and treats will be served.
