True Dakotan won seven awards, including five for first place, in the South Dakota NewsMedia Association’s annual Better NewsMedia Contest.The association consists of more than 100 members, including newspapers and digital news outlets.

County Commissioners Lift Burn Ban

During a meeting as the County Board of Equalization held on Monday, April 28, the Jerauld County Commissioners voted to lift the burn ban that has been in place in Jerauld County since the end of last month.
