WSHS Senior Honors Classmate Through Gift Drive for Hospitalized Children

What began as a senior project for Wessington Springs High School student Jada Kolousek became something much more, a way to honor a friend while bringing comfort to children facing serious illness.
Kolousek organized a Christmas gift drive for patients at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, raising more than $3,000 to purchase toys and gifts for children of all ages.
