The 2026 Jerauld/Buffalo Achievement Days have come to a close. This year's event featured more than 200 combined livestock and static display exhibit entries, showcasing the hard work and talents of local youth.
The livestock show was held at the Jerauld County Barn/ Arena on August 4. Judge Drew Pederson from Garretson, SD presided over the livestock show, while Hope Baysinger from Woonsocket, SD judged the poultry and companion animal division.
Static display exhibits were judged by Becky Thompson, Brady Duxbury, Julie Bruckner, Stanna Olinger, Jeanna Schafer and Cindy Eilers, all of Wessington Springs, along with Janet Maeschen of Letcher.
A special thank you goes out to all the judges, volunteers, and sponsors for helping make this year's Achievement Days a success.
