The Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds picked up a homecoming-week victory Sept. 22, sweeping Sanborn Central/ Woonsocket in three sets, 25-18, 25-19 and 25-16.
Maria Nelson led the attack with nine kills and added a team-high 17 digs. Marlee Boomsma recorded five kills and two aces, while Preslie Jensen added four kills and six blocks. Shae Uttecht dished out 27 assists and collected 13 digs, while Raya Topel also finished with 13 digs.
Wolsey-Wessington improved to 3-0 in the match.
