The Nordby Center for Recreation (NCR) announced last week that Joey Mitchell, of Wessington Springs, has been promoted to the position of Executive Director of Huron’s largest fitness facility. Mitchell has served as the Assistant Manager at the NCR since 2017, and took over as acting Executive Director when Shelly Buddenhagen retired from the position after a 22 year career in mid-April.
