    Grounded in the belief that kids learn best by doing, the 4-H focus is hands-on projects in areas including science, health, agriculture and civic engagement. Kids can concentrate on one focus area or they can try a variety of programs throughout their 4‑H experience, as seen above by local Jerauld/Buffalo County 4-Hers during Achievement Days last week. While the annual event is widely celebrated each year, this year marked the local centennial, driving home the power of empowering youth and helping them find their passions for 100 years in our area.
