Springs Area Council of the Arts launched its new event series “Great Books Make Great Movies” earlier this year, with the first movie viewing held last week at the Historic 1905 Opera House. The concept includes reading a book, gathering together for food and discussion followed by a viewing of the movie. The featured book and movie was True Grit.
