  • WSHS Athletic Director and Middle School High School Principal Jason Kolousek alongside WSES educator and Head Track and Field/Cross Country Coach Becky Krueger served as event organizers for the Blue and Gold.

    Twenty-six teams of dedicated golfers went on to complete the 17th Annual Blue and Gold Golf Tournament held Saturday, June 28,2025 at the Springs Country Club in Wessington Springs.

    Golfers enjoyed 18-holes and lunch with all proceeds from the tourney supporting the Spartans Booster Club. Results were as follows: 

    Championship Flight

    1st Place - Blake Messmer and Jevon Hohn (62)

    2nd Place - Brock Krueger and Blake Larson (62)

    3rd Place - Jacob Messmer and Austin Messmer (65) 

    First Flight

    1st Place - Brian and Jen Kolousek (75)

    2nd Place - Ronnie and Tucker Thompson (76)

    3rd Place - Kevin Mebius and Jennifer Swenson (76)

    2nd Flight

    1st place - Brady and Lisa Younie (78)

    2nd Place - Blake and Bailey Willman (79)

    3rd place - Gloria Vavra and Craig Fonder (79)
