GRATEFUL I HAD A PRAYING GRANDMOTHER

I am so grateful and thankful that I had a praying Grandmother. I often wonder where my life would be if she had not been a praying Grandma! One thing that I remember thinking was Grandma was really old, probably 60! Yikes! That means she would have been younger than me right now!

Viral Infections and Where We Stand

I decided it might be useful to review where we stand with regard to the various viral infections that have caused so much disruption, suffering and death. Covid Covid is still with us. All indications are that it will be for years to come. We hear less in the media about the threat from Covid.

Darleen Cuppy wrote her Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia wasn’t feeling good, so Editor Kristi Hine came to get it. It was such a nice day Darleen went for a walk in the afternoon. Tuesday Darleen enjoyed the ham dinner from the Manor kitchen.

Week 8 in the state legislature hummed right along. The second to last week seems like a transitional type of week. Committees wrapped up their work, and the chambers begin to start playing political funny business.

“Cuppys Corner”

Darleen Cuppy wrote her news Monday morning. Delia came to get it much later in the day - she was attending the Farm, Home and Health Show. Darleen enjoyed the pork roast dinner from the Manor kitchen. Darleen received a pretty bouquet from her daughter Cindy Zenk.

We finished legislative day 29, there are 8 days remaining. Both the Joint and House Appropriations Committees are busy with end of session bill hearings and budget setting. More in that regard next week.
