True Dakotan, We always look forward to receiving the weekly issue. You do an excellent job of including lots of great pictures with the written news. We enjoy reading about the people that we knew many years ago. We are also amazed at how Wessington Springs has so many things going for it.

LifeServe Blood Center, the sole supplier to 29 hospitals in South Dakota, is seeking eligible blood donors to give blood at an upcoming Wessington Springs community blood drive. Blood is a vital part of treatment for countless illnesses and injuries afflicting local hospital patients.

A little boy was being tucked into bed during quite a big storm. He was reluctant to let his mother leave and so she assured him that Jesus loved him and would look after him. The little boy replied with a wail. “I know Mommy... but I need someone with skin on!
