Donors needed for upcoming blood drive

LifeServe Blood Center, the sole supplier to 29 hospitals in South Dakota, is seeking eligible blood donors to give blood at an upcoming Wessington Springs community blood drive. Blood is a vital part of treatment for countless illnesses and injuries afflicting local hospital patients.

I thought it is time to show the team’s appreciation for the great fan support this year. The guys have continued to improve and have qualified for their second consecutive trip to Cadwell for the state tournament. The road was not easy, it never is.

Why don’t you give us a hand?

In response to last week’s Letter to the Editor titled “Let’s get real about Leap to Lane,” I’d like to share some of the facts that may have been overlooked. First and foremost, I want to point out that Leap to Lane is a totally separate entity than the Town of Lane.

I say, “Keep up the good work”

I am saddened that a townsperson would have anything against bringing a little life into a small town. It brings people together. What is wrong with that? I may be a little partial but my husband and I make sure we come each year and bring a car for the car show.
