The Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds girls track and field team tied for 17th place in Class B competition at the 2026 SDHSAA State Track and Field Meet, held May 28-30 at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls. The Warbirds finished with 16 team points against the state's top Class B programs.

On Monday, May 11, 2026, the 7/8th graders traveled to Parkston to participate in their last JH meet of the season. These kids have worked hard all spring and their hard work and dedication to the sport had them ending the competition with some of their personal bests.

Wolsey-Wessington golfers delivered a strong showing at the 281 Tournament, with standout performances at both the junior high and varsity levels. The junior high team opened competition Wednesday, led by Pepper Moser (shown during golf action in Wessington Springs) who earned a second-place finish.
