Boys Notch an Away Win Against SBA, Eke Out Home Victory With Seconds LeftWessington Springs recorded a 57-39 victory against Sunshine Bible Academy in a 281 Conference matchup last Thursday. With a 22-9 run in the third quarter, the Spartans led 52-33.

The Wessington Springs Spartans girls basketball team played in the Parkston Classic on Tuesday, December 31 against McCook Central/ Montrose. The game was to be played on Monday, December 30 but the classic was pushed to December 31 because of weather.

The Wessington Springs Spartans traveled to Howard on Saturday and came away with JV and Varsity victories. The JV team defeated Howard by a score of 33-20 to move to 3-0 on the season.The Spartan Varsity team moved to 2-1 on the season with a 63-37 victory.

The Spartans Girls basketball team began the 2024-25 season with a road win at Wolsey-Wessington by a score of 49-47. The first half was an offensive struggle for both teams. The Spartans led 7-6 at end of 1st quarter.
