Spartans Gain at Greenway Relays

On Friday, April 22, 2022, the Spartans traveled to Mt. Vernon to participate in the Greenway Relays. The weather looked favorable to get this first meet for some in and only our second meet of the season. This was a huge meet, with around twenty teams participating, from all three classes.

On Friday, April 8, 2022, Mother Nature finally allowed us to have our first track meet of the season. We traveled to Redfield to participate in the H/T Patriot Meet. Due to other school commitments, we didn’t take the full squad. What kids we were able to take did very well.

All-State basketball teams for the 2021-22 season were released this week with selections chosen by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association. Wessington Springs High School senior Mason Schelske was named to the Class B All State Third Team.
