From the halls of Wessington Springs High School we bring a new project to this week’s Artist’s Corner.
This project was recently completed by Advanced Art I senior, Ridge Roduner. For this project, he chose to work with charcoal as he had never worked with it before and wanted to try something new. He also enjoys working with light to dark shading and creating realistic, 3D objects in his drawings.
He did a nice job drawing the picture and keeping the proportions and angles of the semi correct. The shading is nice and smooth, creating an overall realistic look to his artwork. The final result portrays his love for farming and agriculture.
Look to upcoming print and e-editions for additional peeks inside the art room at WSHS.
