From the Halls of WSHS
BY ART INSTRUCTOR ALICIA ROESLER
From the halls of WSHS we bring a couple new projects to this week’s Artist’s Corner. These projects were completed by Drawing students Raygen Teveldal, Felicity Ormsmith, and Maisie O’Day.
When we started the semester in January, all of the Drawing students began working with 3-point perspective. In 3-point perspective, there are 2 viewpoint options: Bird’s Eye View and Ant’s View.
Felicity chose to draw her project of a Jazz Hall at night in the Ant’s View. Raygen Teveldal and Maisie O’Day created their city view drawings in Bird’s Eye View. All three girls angled their buildings correctly to the 3 different vanishing points as well as creating great details and contrast with these pencil drawings.
These drawings and the rest of the Drawing students’ projects are currently on display at the court house for viewing.
