Building Toward the Future: Construction Boom Signals Progress in Wessington Springs
Construction is well-underway across Wessington Springs, including on Main Street East. City employee Lucas VanEngelenburg and summer hires Robert Hine and Karter Mebius work on removing damaged material from the street as a result of heavy semi truck traffic. The prepared section of the street now awaits hot mix installation, designed to bear larger loads than the current surface.
If progress can be measured by construction projects, Wessington Springs is laying the foundation for a vibrant future.
