Feeding South Dakota Senior Box Distribution Finds New Home

Feeding South Dakota delivered its first distribution of senior meal boxes to the Wessington Springs Senior Center on Tuesday, Nov. 18, marking a new location for the monthly program. The boxes were previously handed out at the 4-H Building and later at the home of longtime volunteer April Grubb.

Wessington Springs to Host Winter Magic in the Park Dec. 7

Wessington Springs will continue its holiday festivities on Sunday, Dec. 7, with Winter Magic in the Park from 1 to 3 p.m. The family event will feature horse-drawn wagon rides around Winter Park along with a winter craft activity for children.

Wessington Springs High School senior Max Klein completed his senior experience project this last month and this week by organizing a hands-on CPR and “Stop the Bleed” training for the senior class and several juniors.
