Jim and Carolyn Ferguson stand inside the former United Church of Christ in Wessington Springs, where they have spent the past several years transforming the historic church into their home. For generations, people walked through the doors of the former United Church of Christ in Wessington Springs to worship, celebrate marriages, baptize children, mourn loved ones and gather as a community.
Soon, Jim and Carolyn Ferguson will walk through those doors and simply be home.
