The Wessington Springs Community Choir hails a long history of sharing the gift of music in the Springs community, lending countless hours of their time to practice, rehearsal and ultimately, the moving performances they share with the community.
“I am impressed with the number of people that volunteer their time and talents to not only community choir, but many other volunteer organizations within our community,” said Jan Krohmer, WS Community Choir director. “It just so happens that music is my passion so this is near and dear to my heart. It is always my prayer for any of my choirs, that we lift our voices in praise.”
Many new faces were seen at this month’s Christmas concert at the Opera House, which Krohmer attributes to a grassroots effort of existing choir members reaching out to the community, ensuring a solid future for the choir’s musical contributions.
