From the Halls of WSHS: Artist’s Corner

From the halls of WSHS we bring two new projects to this week’s Artist’s Corner.

These were completed by painting students Luke Larson and Richard Cardona.

For this assignment, the students worked with oil paint. Oil paints are known for their rich, vibrant colors, slow drying time, and ability to create subtle gradations and intricate details. They offer a unique blend of versatility and durability, allowing for smooth blending, realistic effects, and lasting color.

They focused on blending colors to help create realistic 3-dimensional forms. They also worked to include details.

All the painting students worked hard on their projects for about 3.5 - 4 weeks and created amazing results.

Visit the school’s website for more finished projects.
