The Wessington Springs Volunteer Fire Department Fourth of July Fireworks Fund was filled a bit more over the weekend thanks to the fire department’s annual Fire in the Hole golf tournament. Twenty-six teams golfed in the 18-hole, two-man scramble tourney, with Wessington Springs emerging as the first victor of the newly established traveling firemen’s trophy between Alpena, Woonsocket and Wessington Springs.
