Wessington Springs women Lynn Damm, Jean Ferguson, Kristi Hine and Delia Atkinson traveled with their True Dakotan to Chicago in July for a mom-daughter windy city adventure.
Pictured left to right are Damm, Atkinson, Hine and Ferguson just before sitting down to dine at the world-famous Walnut Room located inside Macy’s on Magnificent Mile. Following the meal, they enjoyed watching their cousin perform in a play at the Goodman Theatre.
During their trip, the women hit all the sights including Navy Pier, Chicago Riverwalk, Millennium Park and the reflective Cloud Gate (aka “The Bean”) sculpture, shopping on the Magnificent Mile and River Architecture Tour.
No trip to Chicago would be complete without pizza at Lou Malnati’s and of course, a Chicago dog, which the foursome happily enjoyed at a cafe along the river.
