Foot-Stomping Folk with a Twist: Humbletown's Dylan Lewis Live in the Garden Tonight

The second installment of this summer’s Music in the Garden series will take place Thursday, July 17, at 7 p.m. in the Shakespeare Garden in Wessington Springs.

This week’s featured performer is Dylan Lewis of Humbletown, a genre-blending trio originally formed in Vermillion and now based in the Black Hills. Their sound draws from bluegrass, old-time, swing, Americana, and classic country influences, with original songs shaped by their surroundings and travels. The group’s unique instrumentation comprised of clawhammer banjo, flatpick guitar, and upright bass adds rich texture to their storytelling style.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating. In case of bad weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the 1905 Opera House.
