A few weeks ago, while off duty, my wife and I witnessed a crime. As I spoke with dispatch, I provided the best description I could, and my wife added several key details. Fortunately, in our peaceful rural community, witnessing a crime is not common, but it does happen.

I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. I enjoyed the chicken dinner from the Manor kitchen. At 4 p.m. I went to see CNP Sara Cashman for a checkup on my leg. Tuesday was a very blustery day. Baleigh Sails spent the day with Grandma Dar Cuppy.

The finish line is in sight for the 100th Legislative Session. This has been a long and, at times, challenging few months, but our work is not done yet. The final stretch is always a whirlwind, and right now, much of our focus is on finalizing the state budget.
