I was 30 years old when Tim McGraw released the song with the same title as this article. It’s a great anthem for a person’s middle years of life. I can’t say I followed it too well, though. I still stay up late and don’t eat enough salads.

No Cuppy’s Corner this week The True Dakotan was notified by Darleen Cuppy’s family that she is unable to write her news this week due to illness. Cuppy was experiencing abdominal pain and was admitted to the hospital. She ended up being transfered to Mitchell and underwent surgery.

ENJOYING SEASONS AND TIMES

One of the things I really love about South Dakota is the mostly relaxed attitude people have. The hurry-scurry rush of my native California seems to have been quashed here. On the one hand I think it stems from the lower population.

I COMMEND JOY IN LIFE

The author of Ecclesiastes wrote, “And I commend joy, for man has nothing better under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful, for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun.” (Eccl 8:15, ESV) The man knew what he was talking about.
