WESSINGTON SPRINGS SCHOOL DISTRICTIt does not seem that long ago, that we were preparing for end of first semester and looking forward to the Holiday Break. Now we are over two weeks into 2nd semester and things are happening fast.

Happy birthday to daughter-in-law Nancy Cuppy on January 4, 2026.On Monday, January 5, 2026, Grandma Dar had a whirlpool bath and a massage by Loni Reindl Reif. She attended Bingo in the dining hall and had good luck winning some nickels. On Tuesday, January 6, Dr. Lim stopped in to see Grandma.

Saturday, December 27 Grandma was visited by Cheryl , Darryl and Nancy, Candi, Deion, Athena, and True.Sunday and Monday, December 28 and 29th Grandma Dar remained at Avera McKennan hospital in Sioux Falls. Cheryl and Candi were with her and Cathy, Ella, and Nora stopped in.

In the early morning hours on Monday, December 22, 2025, Grandma Darleen Cuppy dialed 911 from her apartment. She was having a hard time catching her breath now, after being discharged from the Springs’ hospital on Friday, December 19, with phlebitis in her lower left leg.

My very dearest people, Today, Friday December 26, 2025, our church experienced a devastating fire that caused serious damage within our beautiful church.
