Warbirds Battle Through Rain in Homecoming Loss to Platte-Geddes

A steady rain fell throughout the night, but that didn’t dampen the spirit of Warbird Nation as a hearty Homecoming crowd packed the stands Friday to cheer on Wolsey-Wessington.

The Wolsey-Wessington Youth Football team, traveled to Parkston on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2025 to take part in a youth jamboree. Third and fourth grade team members include: Callen Carter, Ryder Krutzfeldt, Danny Waldner, Vonn Jungemann, Ben Timm, Brooks Jensen, Jax French, Kanton Moeding, Felix Sabalier, Jaxton Kunze, Aiden Wicks and Dean Carothers.
