The Spartans claimed the Region 2B boys team championship at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron with a score of 237 to qualify for state. Braun qualified for state by securing 9th place individually at regions. The boys team finished 12th in the state at the South Dakota State B Golf Meet held in Watertown on June 2-3.

Wyatt Fagerhaug, an eighth-grade Wessington Springs Midddle School student has earned a position on the South Dakota National Junior High rodeo team and will be traveling to Des Moines, IA June 22 through June 28 to compete at the 20th annual National Junior High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR) in Tie Down Roping and Ribbon Roping competitions.
