Nineteen teams of four hit the greens for the first-ever Red, White and Booze Golf Tournament, making it a standout and the first four-person scramble hosted at the Springs Country Club in many years. The 18-hole event capped off a fun-filled Fourth of July weekend in Wessington Springs.

Twenty-six teams of dedicated golfers went on to complete the 17th Annual Blue and Gold Golf Tournament held Saturday, June 28,2025 at the Springs Country Club in Wessington Springs.Golfers enjoyed 18-holes and lunch with all proceeds from the tourney supporting the Spartans Booster Club.

This year’s Pair of Jacks Golf Tournament brought in $2,279 to support the Wessington Springs High School golf team, with proceeds helping cover equipment costs and facility improvements at the Springs Country Club.

Spartans Shine at State Track Meet: Podium Finishes, School Records, and Personal Bests Cap Off Season

On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, we left for the state track and field meet in Sioux Falls. The state meet is now held over three days at Howard Wood Field.The first event for the Spartans on Thursday, May 29, 2025, was the boys’ 2-mile relay.

The Spartans claimed the Region 2B boys team championship at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron with a score of 237 to qualify for state. Braun qualified for state by securing 9th place individually at regions. The boys team finished 12th in the state at the South Dakota State B Golf Meet held in Watertown on June 2-3.
