All 34 teams competing in the annual “Fire in the Hole” Golf Tournament posed for a group photo in front of a Wessington Springs Fire Department truck at Springs Country Club on Saturday, Aug. 23. Proceeds from the tournament will help fund the community’s Fourth of July fireworks celebration as well as a memorial honoring fallen firefighter Michial Brodkorb.
Wesley Molnar (2) was a steady target with five catches for 59 yards.
KRISTI HINE / TRUE DAKOTAN Hayes Havlik added three catches for 76 yards, including a touchdown during Friday night’s 13-12 Bucks victory over Bridgewater-Emery-Ethan. Havlik suffered a catastrophic ankle and lower leg injury during the game and later underwent surgery.
