The 2023 South Dakota State 4-H Finals Rodeo took place in Fort Pierre Aug. 18-20. Eleven local contestants represented Jerauld/Buffalo 4-H. Among them were Ella Fagerhaug, Raylee Fagerhaug, Rylan Fagerhaug, Wyatt Fagerhaug, Hannah Heezen, Hastin Heezen, Kate Havlik, Londyn Mikkelson (pictured above), Sarah Poncelow, Selah Havlik and Jayla Schley. The youth competed in several different events over the three-day event.
