MUSEUM MUSINGS

Volunteers with the Dunham Historical Society are opening the doors of the Jerauld County Museum to share small but fascinating glimpses of early life on the northern plains.

In this edition, we have registration cards from the Oliver Hotel. Built in February 1908 and closed in 1974, the hotel was located on the corner of Barrett Avenue and Main Street, directly East across the street from the present-day museum location. The hotel was torn down in 1977.

The registration cards were donated by Jenni Wahl in 1993.
