Darleen wrote her news Monday morning and Delia came to get it later in the forenoon. Darleen enjoyed the rib sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw and cake delivered by Rhonda LePage from the Senior Center. In the evening Darleen watched the Minnesota Twins play the Chicago White Sox. The Twins won 3-1.

City Park Good and Bad News

Dear Editor, CITY PARK GOOD NEWS: The City Council voted to support the establishment of a Wessington Springs Park and Recreation Board. It is the goal of the new board to continue to promote various committees to work on different areas of the park, i.e.

Darleen wrote her news Monday morning and Delia got it later in the forenoon. Darleen enjoyed the roast beef dinner and peach cobbler from the Manor kitchen. Monday evening Darleen watched the Minnesota Twins play the Chicago White Sox. The Twins won 7-0.

Senior Center Moments

The Wessington Springs Senior Citizen’s Center had a meeting on April 8, 2024. On April 7, bingo and a baked potato supper were enjoyed by many members of the community. The special events committee will be hosting bingo and a meal the first Sunday of every month with some exceptions.

Darleen wrote her news Monday morning and Delia got it later in the forenoon. Darleen enjoyed the hamburger, green beans, tater tots and blueberry dessert from the Manor kitchen. Darleen’s daughter Candi Sails got some groceries for Darleen.
