Darleen Cuppy wrote her news Monday morning; Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. Darleen’s twin sister Marleen Caffee of Rapid City called Monday afternoon. She is doing good. She was going to have Thanksgiving dinner with some friends from church.
I’d like to invite you to stop by this Saturday, December 2 from 2 - 5 p.m. The True Dakotan is part of the Christmas Tour of Homes and Businesses and we can’t wait to welcome you inside one of Wessington Springs Main Street’s oldest buildings. We look forward to seeing you and enjoying some snacks, refreshments and a look at the building’s rich history together. We also can’t wait to show you the finished product of the renovated-just-last-year historic table shown above, pre-refurbish.

To the editor: This past week we observed Veterans Day honoring those who have sacrificed to protect our country. It is certainly wise and appropriate that we do so. It brings into focus how important it is to have those who are/were willing to sacrifice for others.
