Darleen Cuppy wrote hernewsMondaymorning and Editor Kristi Hine came to get it. Darleen had physical therapy at 11 a.m. In the afternoon Darleen got some Halloween decorations put out. Tuesday Darleen enjoyed the chicken filet dinner from the Senior Center. It was delivered by Rhonda LePage.

Hi I’m Caroline Witte and I’m a senior in 4-H. My favorite part about 4-H is doing 4-H rodeo and getting to meet new people! My favorite 4-H memory is when I was washing my goats and Ryder sprayed me with a hose and Carissa got it all on video! In 4-H I’ve learned so much!

As the leaves begin to change colors, the school year is already approaching the end of the first quarter! Tomorrow is the first Parent-Teacher Conference day, and we are looking forward to seeing our families and sharing all the great things the students are learning.

Darleen Cuppy wrote her news Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. Darleen had physical therapy at 11 a.m. Darleen enjoyed the hot beef dinner and chocolate cake from the Manor kitchen. Her granddaughter Becky Krueger got some things Darleen needed.

Worry about disease control mistrust

I’m worried. I’m worried because I see more and more reports about the fear, distrust and, in fact, open rejection of vaccination as a method for disease control. Much of this stemmed from controversy around the covid vaccines.

Area Youth Invited

The Wessington Springs Area Community Youth Group will hold their 2023-2024 kick-off event on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The event will be held at the Our Saviors Lutheran church at 210 Dunham Ave N in Wessington Springs, SD. There will be games, supper, music and fellowship.

I wrote my news Monday morning. Delia Atkinson came to get it about 11 a.m. She brought me a get-well card and three beautiful peach-colored carnations from her and Kristi Hine. (The carnations are still beautiful!) Tuesday I watched the Minnesota Twins play Cincinnati at 5:30 p.m.
