Legends in the Making: Spartans Off and Running at Burke Meet

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, the Spartan track & field team traveled to Burke to participate in the Meet of Legends. The individual events medaled 1st-6th and the relays medaled 1st-3rd. In the first session of field events the girls threw the discus. Avery Orth threw 89’ 8”.

Miller Booster Club Meet On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, while over half of the team was in Sioux Falls competing at the state FCCLA convention, the rest of the Spartans traveled to Miller for the Booster Club meet. The clouds rolled in faster than the wind blew, if that was possible.

The Spartans enjoyed a thrilling and memorable day on the golf course last Thursday, April 27 as the varsity boys team claimed first place and Blake Larson medaled top honors after reaching a pinnacle many golfers never reach — a hole in one. Larson landed first with a 69.
