The South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) announced that the Wolsey Public Water System and the system’s certified operators have been awarded a Drinking Water Certificate of Achievement Award.

The True Dakotan was recognized with multiple awards at the South Dakota NewsMedia Association’s 143rd annual convention, held last weekend in Deadwood.

May 8 Deadline Nears for Class of 2026 Senior Section

The True Dakotan will once again celebrate local graduates with a special all-color Senior Section, set to publish May 13, honoring members of the Class of 2026 from both Wessington Springs High School and, for the first time, Wolsey-Wessington High School.
