On Monday, April 6, 2026, Grandma ate breakfast cream of wheat, hard boiled egg, and blueberry muffin with a glass of chocolate milk. Grandma has been enjoying her tulips from Brian, Jullie, Carlie, and Berklie Bell. Grandma won 5 times at BINGO. Candi stopped out to visit.

Monday, March 30, 2026, Grandma had a good breakfast of cocoa wheats with raisins and a blueberry muffin. Cindy stopped in as she was helping Grandma get things finished up in the apartment. She ordered a new video chat frame for me, as well.

Monday, March 23, 2026, Grandma Darleen was up early. She had a whirlpool bath before breakfast, where she enjoyed an egg and a pastry. Grandma enjoyed the afternoon BINGO. For supper she had scalloped potatoes and ham. Becky stopped out after track practice.

Hello from the Wessington Springs Schools. It is March already and as always there is a lot going on. Two weeks ago our Juniors took the ACT assessment. As explained in an earlier column this is a different requirement from the South Dakota Department of Education for state testing.

South Dakota’s 101st Legislative Session, Week Seven

Hello again from Pierre, We are fast approaching the end of the 101st session of our state legislature. Many of the bills remaining to deal with are either strongly supported or have been killed. We are close to balancing the 2027 FY budget. There are still some areas to be decided this coming week.
